Delivery & collection

UK delivery and collection on ClearanceFood

Every listing shows its delivery method and cost up front — parcel courier for consumer lots, pallet freight for trade orders, or collection from the seller. Here is how each route works across the UK.

Parcel courier

Consumer-sized lots (cases, multipacks, single units) are typically sent by tracked parcel courier. The delivery cost is shown on each listing before you bid or buy, and many sellers offer free delivery above a minimum order value.

Pallet freight

B2B lots sold by the pallet or as whole lots move on pallet networks or seller-arranged haulage. Listings state whether freight is seller-arranged, buyer-arranged, or ex-works, so trade buyers can price the landed cost before committing.

Collection

Some lots are collection-only from the seller’s premises. The listing shows the collection area and any collection deadline. Bring proof of purchase and suitable transport — chilled and frozen lots need temperature-controlled vehicles.

Coverage by area

UK mainland

Standard coverage. Most listings deliver to all UK mainland postcodes at the price shown on the listing.

Scottish Highlands & Islands

Some sellers apply a surcharge or extended lead time. Each listing states its zone policy before checkout.

Northern Ireland

Available on listings that enable the Northern Ireland zone. Food consignments may need additional labelling under current GB–NI rules.

International

Most listings are UK-only. Where a seller enables international delivery, it is shown explicitly on the listing.

ClearanceFood is operated by Sun Exotic Wholesale Ltd from Harlow, Essex. Collection lots list their own location; the marketplace itself connects buyers with verified sellers across the UK.

Delivery questions

Who delivers my order?
Delivery is arranged by the seller of each lot. The listing states the method (parcel, pallet freight, or collection) and the cost before you commit. After payment you can track dispatch progress from your orders page.
How long does delivery take?
Parcel orders typically arrive within 2–5 working days of dispatch. Pallet freight is usually booked within a week of payment, with the seller or haulier contacting you to arrange a delivery slot. Short-dated stock is prioritised for fast dispatch.
How is chilled and frozen food handled?
Chilled and frozen lots state their storage type on the listing. They move on temperature-controlled transport or are sold collection-only so the cold chain stays intact. Check the storage type and freight mode on the listing before buying.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
Report the problem from your orders page as soon as the delivery arrives, with photos. Because clearance stock is sold by lot, listings state a variance policy where applicable, and support@clearancefood.com handles disputes.
