ClearanceFood.com is a UK marketplace for clearance food, best-before groceries, short-dated drinks, household stock, and B2B surplus lots.
Where do I buy clearance food pallets in the UK?
On ClearanceFood.com. Anyone can bid on public lots at /customer/auctions. Verified businesses can also bid on bulk pallets and cases at /b2b/auctions. Join deal alerts at /buy-stock.
What is the difference between household lots and verified-business lots?
Household and public buyers use /customer/auctions for individual lots. Verified business accounts can also access B2B pallets, cases, and larger surplus lots at /b2b/auctions. Anonymous brokered deal rounds are for verified businesses only.
How do I place a bid?
Create a free buyer account, open an active auction, and enter your bid. Some listings may also offer Buy It Now when the seller enables it.
What happens if I win an auction?
You will be notified, asked to pay through the platform flow, and then able to follow payment, dispatch, and order status updates.
Can businesses buy in bulk?
Yes. Verified business accounts can access B2B auctions for pallets, cases, and larger surplus stock opportunities.
Can I sell clearance stock?
Business sellers can register, complete verification, and list approved clearance food, drinks, confectionery, household goods, and excess inventory.
Are best-before items safe?
Best-before dates are about quality rather than safety. Buyers should review listing details, packaging condition, and product dates before bidding.
What is the difference between best before and use by?
Best before is a quality date; use by is a safety date. In the UK it is illegal to sell food after its use-by date. The full explanation is at /guides/best-before-vs-use-by.
How do deal alerts and the WhatsApp Channel work?
Deal-alert emails and optional WhatsApp messages are opt-in only; withdraw through /contact. The WhatsApp Channel is a public announcements Channel that you follow yourself — we cannot add you to it, and followers cannot see each other. We do not add people to open groups. Start at /buy-stock.
How does delivery work?
Delivery information is shown on listings where available. After payment, sellers prepare the order and dispatch according to the listing and order flow.
